So everytime I go back to my lovely not northern not southern hometown, I hear some weird music coming out of bars and cars that I really can't put a name to. But now I can, and its a glorious name, Donk. Subject of a donkumentary...

Basketball HERO

So. This Autistic guy gets a chance to help out with the basketball team, he loves it, he hands out towels and water. He loves going to the games. So for the last game the coach lets him suit up, just as a treat. Then the unthinkable happens, and he gets called up to play. Watch this vid to see the story. Pretty feelgood friday I think...

I saw that the Space Hijackers, that well known reclaim the streets/anti capitalism brigade are doing a bit of a murder mystery hunt for the culprit of the firebombing of the Whitechapel Starbucks on Sunday to find out who done it! and also show just how unpopular the nippleless mermaid merchants are. I don't agree with firebombing, of course, but this is a nice way to capitalise on it, see what I did there?

Mind Control

So, heres a toy of the future, the Mindflex by Mattel. You get to power a ball around an obstacle course just using your mind, my word, and I used to love playing snap.

Apparently, it works as the headband measures beta waves in your brain - the harder you think the stronger these are. This is sent to the fan which the foam balls sit in so the harder you think (stronger waves) the faster the fan goes and the higher the ball floats. Phew.
